DSS Event Center
The DSS Event Center provides a common workflow for alarms and operational events generated by cameras, recorders, access control, analytics, alarm systems and other supported sources. Instead of presenting isolated notifications, DSS can associate an event with video, maps and configured response actions.
Event linkage can be used to display live or recorded video, trigger operator notifications and coordinate supported security functions. Current DSS integration capabilities also extend event handling to supported ONVIF intelligent event types and third-party alarm or analytic systems through Dahua integration interfaces and bridge technologies.
Operators can acknowledge and process events while retaining a searchable history for review. This creates a clearer audit trail and supports consistent response procedures across a control room or multi-site environment.
Typical Event Sources & Actions
- Video analytics including intrusion, tripwire and other supported intelligent events.
- ANPR and vehicle events.
- Access control and door events.
- Device, storage and system faults.
- Third-party alarm and analytic events where integrated.
- Video pop-up, map indication, notifications and other configured linkage actions.
Operator Workflow
The Event Center is intended to support a closed-loop workflow: detect, verify, respond and review. By presenting alarm context alongside associated video and system information, DSS helps operators make faster and more consistent decisions.
